Dext Prepare (formerly known as Receipt Bank) is a software application (and Xero add-on) that takes the hassle out of manual data entry by allowing businesses to electronically capture and store their receipts, invoices and other documents. There’s no paperwork and no data entry, so you can spend your time where it matters.

After making a purchase, all you need to do is take a picture of the receipt and upload it to Dext Prepare. The software then captures the exact information needed from the document.

Dext Prepare can get smart too. If you have an expense that you always post, you can set up a rule to always categorise it under the same thing automatically every time. For example, petrol can be automatically applied as fuel expense, no matter if the purchase is made via debit card, credit card or cash. Zero data entry!
