Compliant with Making Tax Digital
Making Tax Digital (MTD) was introduced on 1 April 2019 as part of the Government’s plan to transform the tax system, ensure businesses and individuals and paying the correct tax and move it online.
Phase 1 affected businesses over the VAT threshold. Phase 2 begins in 6 April 2023 for other businesses.
The good news is Xero is fully compatible with MTD.
