A4G named 24th in School Leaver Awards

A4G Chartered Accountants have been named as 24^th position in the 2020 edition of the School Leaver Awards.

The awards celebrate the best employers and training providers for school and college leavers. The winners are based on a survey taken by apprentices themselves through which they rate their experience across a range of aspects including salary, company culture and work-life balance.

A4G were also recognised in three other categories in the School Leaver Awards. They came 2^nd for Accounting and Professional Services. 4^th for the best school leaver programme. And 10^th for best school engagement. This is ahead of the likes of big names such as St James’s Place, Bentley, PwC, BP, Coca-Cola, IBM, Harrods, British Airways, Lloyds Bank, Barclays, Rolls-Royce. This news comes at a difficult time for school leavers with the unemployment rates increasing due to the Coronavirus pandemic. But as

“We are absolutely thrilled to have our apprentice’s achievements recognised with this national award.

We have always been passionate about our training programme and providing opportunities for school leavers. Year after year we take on 4 new trainees and this year is no different.

Whilst we are going through a difficult time with the global pandemic, young people are one of the hardest hit in terms of unemployment rates. That’s why this year, we continued with our efforts to help young people and have 4 new school leavers starting with us on 16 September.

We are delighted to share this news with them and will continue to work extremely hard to improve our programme.”
