Emma joined the practice in 1999 straight from school keen to develop herself and continue studying but couldn’t face the idea of sharing a bathroom at university. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005 after 7 years of hard studying, she finally got her social life back.  Then in 2009 she was made partner. Her roles as head of HR for A4G means she is ideally placed to understand and support businesses leverage themselves and bring new people into their team.

Emma enjoys working with owner-managers in a range of industry’s helping them to understand their financials and work with the finance team, structure themselves in a tax efficient manner; achieving both their business and personal aspirations. She loves helping solve her clients problems and watching their businesses flourish.

Outside of work I enjoy being active; dog walking, jogging and re-living my youth waving glowsticks around to old club music in clubbercise exercise classes. She also loves spending time with family and friends and a nice glass of vino.

Every accountant should really care about their clients; available out of hours in an emergency, prepared to fight your corner with HMRC, help advise and council in times of pressure and celebrate your successes.
