Why offshore in South Africa?

The benefits of offshoring in South Africa include:

Lower costs: The cost of living and employing people in the UK is skyrocketing. Hiring staff in South Africa costs far less than hiring someone in the UK who can complete the same jobs. Generally, you will save around 50% of your costs hiring someone with the same qualifications.

Increased productivity: The productivity in South Africa is far higher than other offshoring locations. The average handling time, average response time, average communication time, and average reaction speed are higher in South Africa than elsewhere. Plus, since the Covid-19 pandemic forced us all to work from home, businesses have realised we don’t need to be in the same room to work productively.

Access to skilled labour: With the right talent becoming harder and harder to find, offshoring opens up a huge pool of talent across the world. South Africa is fast becoming one of the major offshoring locations due to their excellent education and great English communication skills.

I want to offshore but…

We’ve put together some commonly asked questions to help you find out more about offshoring and us.

If you have any questions we haven’t been able to answer below, please get in touch.

When offshoring you hire employees overseas to work within your local team to save you time and reduce business costs. Your new team member becomes part of your team, learn about your company culture and values. Outsourcing on the other hand is contracting work to a third-party company regardless of the location; they are not part of your team.

We only hire offshore team members with excellent English communication skills. Your offshore member will be able to understand, speak and write in fluent English.

We recommend you pick up the phone or better still, jump on a Teams or Zoom video call, enabling you communicate easier and build a relationship with the offshore team member.

On Teams / Zoom, you can also share your screen so you can go through any queries either of you have and provide training.

Your employee(s) will be trained to your standards and managed by you. We will provide you with templates to support your employees with reviews, salary increases etc., ensure you are compliant with South Africa legalities and they are managed ethically. Everything else is up to you – if you want them to match your working hours, they can; if you want to give them 40 days of annual leave, you can.

If you have any issues with offshore team member, you can contact your dedicated Account Manager who will be able to help resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

It all depends on how much involvement from us you require. The packages below are just a starting base, we are flexible with the support you need from us and therefore so is our cost.
