We’re looking for a part/full time Personal Tax Supervisor to assist the Personal Tax Manager. You will need previous management experience as you will be required to manage and help a team of junior staff members.

You will receive full training on all matters and tasks to do with this position.

Responsibilities:

• Training and supervising 4 junior staff members in the duties of their role and all company procedures
• Ensuring that work within the team is completed on time and within the budget, whilst being of a high standard
• Assist the Personal Tax Manager in a variety of different tasks

All candidates must:

• Have previous supervisory experience
• Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organisational skills and able to work under pressure
• High attention to detail

Experience within tax/accounting/finance is preferable but not compulsory.

This role is based at our New Ash Green office in Kent, with the core business hours of Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm, but we are flexible on whether you work full-time or part-time. We require a minimum of 5 hours per day

Hourly rate is £12.82 – £14.36, depending on experience (+ twice yearly bonus)

We’re looking for a Tax Compliance Assistant to join our fast and dynamic growing accountancy practice. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Be enthusiastic and driven
• Have 3-5 years’ experience working on tax planning for individuals and owner-managed businesses
• Organised and able to work well under pressure
• Flexible in terms of working hours (November, December and January are our busy months so weekend working will be available)

This role is full time, Monday to Friday 9:00-17:30.

Salary from £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.

As a Graduate Trainee Accountant you will have a number of responsibilities within the firm such as:

• Collating and preparing tax returns
• Potential to work within the Bookkeeping and Payroll department
• Working with the latest in Cloud accounting software
• The chance to progress to being a Business Advisor

All candidates must have:

• A full driving licence
• A minimum 5 GCSE Grade 9 – 5 (A* – C)
• A minimum of 3 A level Grade A* – C
• A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline although a Finance or Accounting degree would give you a great head start

If you are a highly motivated individual with a real interest in a long-term career in accountancy then this role may be the ideal opportunity for you.

Salary between £16,000 to £18,000 pa (depending on experience). Plus, a complete study package for the ACA/ACCA Qualification, which includes up to 30 days paid study leave and all course costs paid.

You will require a full driving licence, as the role will be based at both offices at West Kingsdown and New Ash Green.

ACCA/ACA qualified, or an accountant who is qualified by experience with 3 to 5 years of small to medium size practice employment.

In becoming a Client Manager you will undertake or manage most of the work undertaken for a group of clients, meet requests by those clients and generate income for the practice by promoting new services and identifying work that should be billed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, be experienced in preparing management accounts, be highly personable, confident and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Have the ability to work to deadlines under pressure and be a dedicated and enthusiastic individual.
